Taylor Gail Rodgers grew up walking into the forest in the early hours of the morning, striking panic in her mother upon not finding her in bed. She still strikes panic in her mother with the stories she tells in her songs. Rodgers draws inspiration from the songwriters Anaïs Mitchell, Adrianne Lenker, her bandmates in Camellia, Justin Vernon, Sadurn, and Nathaniel Rateliff. From passenger to driver to dive bar to midnight porch, she shepherds the audience through the experiences of her life.

She weaves these stories between her songs, drawing heavily on her background in theater. It is no wonder then that the audience is an integral part of her shows - she will ask for your thoughts, your dreams, your questions, and laughter.
