Skye Trio: Abby Newton, Lyn Hardy, and Selma Kaplan have, individually and together, been playing and recording music forever. Cellist Abby Newton has toured the US and Europe, recorded several of her own solo CDs as well as with Scots legends, Jean Redpath and Alasdair Fraser.  Lyn Hardy, former Rude Girl, singer extraordinaire, is a luthier, singer/songwriter, guitarist and member of the band The Cupcakes. Along with amazing pianist Selma Kaplan, she recorded and toured with the all women band, Rude Girls. These three women combine their individual talents to perform the traditional music of Scotland and the US with the sensitivity and joy of true seasoned musicians.
